WHAT
WE DO

Here at Malalo Sport Foundation, we function based on three main goals we hope to achieve.

GOALS.

The Malalo Sports Foundation/Youth Press and Development Organization aims to empower young people, and particularly girls and women, facing poverty in Chiliabombwe, Zambia. Our mandate includes using sport as a medium for education, developing life skills, and providing information on health issues.

Positivity.

Through collaborative work, both in sports and in the academic setting, we hope to encourage positive community behaviors.

Awareness.

We seek to raise community awareness concerning poverty and health concerns, such as HIV and AIDs.

Hope.

By teaching children and proving them new opportunities, we hope to inspire and instill hope in the youth of the community.

HOW WE WORK.

Fostering Positivity.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

“On my recent trip to Zambia, I was privileged to see and experience some of the inspirational work that is being done by the Malalo Sports Foundation.

The managers and leaders are very much involved with their local communities, managing initiatives in a variety of health and educational programs, and being able to achieve so much with such limited resources. Many hundreds of young people are so much better off and are given opportunities to enjoy and participate in sports, while at the same time becoming more socially integrated with their community.

The work 'Malalo' is doing is very commendable and an inspiration to people everywhere.

I passionately and firmly stand behind them in all their efforts and will personally give my support to all that they are doing in bringing equality and social justice to their communities."
